Volume Fans
A course in handmade fans and fuller sets, for students who have finished Classic Foundations or already place classic sets. Day one is on the mannequin; day two is on a live model.

Mapping a fuller set around the natural lash
Placing fans without crowding the natural lashes
Choosing a style with a client
Fills and removal on a volume set
The days
Volume Fans, in order
Two class days, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a lunch hour between.
- 019 a.m. to noon
Step 1: Day one, morning
Making fans: how much to pick up, how to open it and how to check it before it goes on a lash.
- 021 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Step 2: Day one, afternoon
Mapping a fuller set on the mannequin and placing fans one at a time, with an instructor checking spacing.
- 039 a.m. to noon
Step 3: Day two, morning
A live model. You start with the natural-lash check and the consent talk, then place fans with an instructor beside you.
- 041 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Step 4: Day two, afternoon
A second model, a fill and a removal. We close with what to say when a client reacts and when to send them to a doctor.
Your instructor and what you receive
The course is taught by a licensed instructor and ends with the academy's certificate.

Do I have to take Classic Foundations first?
It is the usual route. If you already place classic sets, tell us and an instructor will talk through your experience before you book.
Will I place fans on a person?
Yes, on day two. Day one is on a mannequin head so your hands know the work first.
